The IPM minor (offered for the first time in fall 2008) is designed to provide business majors an edge in their profession by adding valuable skills in tools, methods and technologies that support information and process management in organizations. Business processes and information technology are the key enablers of firms’ performance and their ability to compete in the marketplace. Regardless of a student’s major, they will be called to participate in process and technology assessment, analysis and re-design projects during their professional career. The IPM minor will prepare one to effectively work with information and process management professionals.
Starting fall 2010 * to earn an IPM minor a student must complete three courses from the following list:

Students should meet with the IPM adviser to select the two electives that best meet their career objectives. Students who have earned credit for AC340, or who plan to take AC340 will not be allowed to take IPM310. An AC major who would like to pursue the IPM minor must take the remaining four courses (CS150, IPM210, IPM320, and IPM450).
